民進黨總統初選 姚嘉文：我比較支持蔡英文
民進黨總統初選截止登記，蔡英文總統與前行政院長賴清德兩強相爭。民進黨前主席姚嘉文今天(23日)出席第九屆「海內外台灣國是會議」受訪表示，人選由黨中央協調他沒意見，但他個人比較支持蔡英文。台灣國家聯盟總召吳樹民則說，民主機制，誰最後出線他就支持誰。#央廣記者江昭倫報導#
「第九屆海內外台灣國是會議」23日在台北召開，副總統陳建仁應邀擔任致詞嘉賓，包括海外學者、歐洲議會議員及民進黨前主席姚嘉文、前行政院長游錫堃、台灣國家聯盟總召吳樹民等人都出席，針對台灣面臨的國際局勢交流意見。
針對民進黨總統初選議題，姚嘉文會前接受媒體訪問時表示，他個人比較支持蔡英文，對於賴清德在臉書上指台灣已經是獨立國家，不用再宣布獨立，姚嘉文也表示認同。
台灣國家聯盟總召吳樹民則說，只要黨最後決定的人選，他就會支持，這是他多年來一貫的立場。吳樹民：『(原音)民主機制就是黨選的人，就變成候選人，所以無所謂支持誰啦，但是我想他們的理念要弄得很清楚，讓我們台灣人民了解，這是非常重要。』
吳樹民說，蔡英文總統執政以來，努力維持兩岸關係穩定，也很小心處理，相信歐美國家都很滿意。他也說，台灣本來就是主權獨立的國家，雖然很多人覺得這樣還不夠，但現況就是如此。不過吳樹民也認為，雖然目前台灣的國名叫「中華民國」，未來還是應該想辦法正名，改變目前的現狀。
